I was in New Orleans for the first time this past weekend and what a weekend it was!
Landed late Friday to a surprise friend opening my cab door. And from there, a spontaneous, awesomely fun night on Bourbon Street. That Friday night was crazy, a whirl of hurricanes, test tube shots, and dancing at the Beach and the Cowboy.
The rest of the time, I got to see the French Quarter in the day time, walking around with hand grenade drinks and checking out bull riding at the Swamp.
Finished up with dinner and a stroll through the Frenchmen Street art market at night.
What did I learn over the weekend?
Nola sure knows how to party.
