Yale

Snow everywhere.

That pretty much sums up my trip to support Yale New Haven Hospital’s go-live.

The adventure started with flight delays, cancellations, and rebookings that got me to New Haven late in the night.

Then to get to work at 7am, I had to trudge through over 30 inches of snow. Like I said, snow everywhere. On the sidewalks, in the roads, everywhere  and everything.

Winter storm Nemo really did a number on the city. In fact, it produced the first snow day at Yale since 1978.

It did clear up a little on day two though, enough for this cool view from the hospital:

I didn’t really get out much due to the icy streets, but I did manage to eat some slam dunk pizza at Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana and check out parts of Yale’s campus, which looked a lot like Hogwarts from Harry Potter lore.
