Walking

Whenever I’m walking to classes or anywhere, I always tend to walk pretty fast.  I guess it’s because I feel like walking between places is kind of a waste of time. My goal is to get from point A to point B, and taking a leisure pace would just take away from time that I could use to do something more productive or fun.

I do appreciate a nice leisurely walk once in a while though.

What do you think? Do you like to take your time when you walk to classes and elsewhere?

I think most people when they walk, THEIR goal in mind IS get to point A to point B, ASAP. However I do enjoy walking and taking my time as I walk to my location but for a different reason. I like to listen to music because it puts me in a good mood, thus I take my time walking. However, when I am listening to music I dont pay attention to anything going around me, and usually dont even say hi to people that I know pass me by :(. muahahhaa!

I tend to walk fast when I’m going to class because I’m usually late. Otherwise, I like to explore (those few times when I’m not late).

I’m actually not sure how I feel about it though, because I don’t usually like walking unless I have a destination in mind (which is why I was never a big fan of running for the sake of running – sorry :[ ), but at the same time, I often choose to walk when I could take the bus or something instead.
