Go Bears
Quick story about something that was awesome to start my day today.
I had just gotten to work and on my way to my office, I saw a lady wandering in the hallway with a map. She was obviously lost, as can happen quite easily in the maze known as the Epic Systems campus. I was in her shoes about two months ago.
I pointed her in the right direction and before she walked away, she let out a spirited “Go Bears!” I guess wearing my Cal sweatshirt today was a dead giveaway for where I went to college. I returned the “Go Bears!” and we went our separate ways.
It’s pretty cool to run into other alumni, especially so far away from Berkeley. Love share=ing a common experience and bond with a total stranger. But really, we weren’t strangers because we are fellow bears :) We make up a community that I am so proud to be a part of.
