Delivering Bad News

Delivering bad news is one of the toughest things for me to ever do. Whether by phone, email, or in person, it’s always hard.
Perhaps part of it is not wanting to be the messenger and being associated with it.
But I think another side of it relates to the decision itself and just hating to say no to a good person. Maybe it’s basic human nature and emotion to want to work with others, rather than turn them away.
