This past weekend, I made my first trip back to Madison, over nine months after I left.
It did not feel like nine months ago… Time has flown by, and Madison is still largely the same. The same restaurants, bars, the terrace, it’s all there, minus me and a lot of the people I knew.
Many of us have since gone our separate ways, but this weekend was a fun reunion of sorts.
I was back to attend my old officemate Laura’s wedding! Feels like yesterday that we were both wide-eyed in that office, trying to figure out how to start our first jobs out of college.
And look at us now! haha
What a great weekend back, filled with friends and dancing under the stars.
